Mary Stein advises incoming and first-year students who do not specify an option (see below). Within the first two semesters, students must choose one of three possible options:
- Sustainable Crop Production—Advisor in the Plant Sciences & Plant Pathology Dept. (PSPP).
- Agroecology—Advisor in the Land Resources & Environmental Sciences Dept. (LRES).
- Sustainable Food Systems—Advisor in Health & Human Development Dept. (HHD).
Within each option, there will be sufficient flexibility to allow individualized student programs to accommodate specific interests. Internship experiences will be tailored to emphasize and support student career choices.
